Position Summary

The E-Billing Analyst will be responsible for assisting the ebilling team with managing the electronic billing process within our company; including but not limited to setting up and maintaining client and vendor ebilling profiles, ensuring compliance with our client’s electronic billing guidelines, assisting with the process of timely timekeeper submissions via the designated third-party eBilling vendor sites, generating reports, and communicating with relevant parties regarding billing updates and procedures. 

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Establishing and maintaining profiles for all electronic billing clients and vendors.
  • Monitoring and Ensuring compliance with all electronic billing guidelines.
  • Overseeing electronic submissions of invoices by the billing team, verifying successful submission, identifying, and resolving rejections and technical issues that arise during the ebilling process.
  • Work with the ebilling and rates team to maintain internal timekeeper database as well as client databases.
  • Track status of submitted timekeeper rates.
  • Communicating with billing teams, legal staff, clients and vendors regarding billing updates and necessary changes.
  • Work with clients to ensure submitted timekeeper rates are approved on a timely basis to ensure timely billing.
  • Assist with tracking and submission of budgets and accrual information to clients monthly.
Qualifications / Position Requirements
  • Minimum of three years law firm EBilling experience.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Hands on familiarity of EBilling vendor software such as: Collaborati, Legal Tracker, Passport and Tymetrix.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level attention to details and accuracy skills.
Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Aderant or Elite legal accounting software a plus.
  • Prior legal billing experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of BillBlast or Ebilling Hub software preferred.
Compensation

 The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Davis Polk offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
