Senior Manager, Litigation Paralegals
Monday through Friday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm (overtime as required)
The paralegal is a vital member of the litigation case team. They are responsible for general case maintenance and case support. The litigation paralegal works directly with attorneys, clerks, and other firm support departments and is responsible for overseeing case projects.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Productions
- Prepares production materials, keeping track of what, when, and to whom the documents are produced.
- Coordinates with case team and Litigation Technical Services to ensure electronic databases reflect incoming and outgoing productions.
- Bates and confidentiality stamping in Adobe Acrobat when producing documents outside of electronic database.
- Delivers electronic media and corresponding cover letters, tracks delivery of production materials.
- Maintains production log and archives multimedia with Media Library
Depositions & Trial
- Assembles exhibits and relevant documents for depositions, witness preparation, witness interviews, and trial.
- Reserves conference rooms and in-house services and arranges for court reporter and videographer services for on-site depositions.
- Organizes and maintains electronic record of deposition transcripts, videos, and hard copy record of original and certified transcripts.
- Reviews transcripts and videos for errata
Document Organization & Management
- Prepares motion papers, court filings, and correspondence; liaises between various litigation support departments in advance of filing.
- Distributes incoming court papers and correspondence to case team.
- Maintains and organizes case documents, correspondence, and binders, archiving when appropriate; bears responsibility for upkeep of workroom
Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and conscientious, have exceptional organization and communication skills, and a sharp eye for detail. Above-average oral and written skills, and exceptional interpersonal skills are requisite.
Candidates for the litigation paralegal position must possess a four-year college degree and have graduated with high academic standing. A minimum of a one-year commitment is required.
The expected base salary for this position is $60,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
