Anzu Special Acquisition Corp I $420 million IPO
Davis Polk advised the underwriters in connection with the initial public offering of 42,000,000 units of Anzu Special Acquisition Corp I, for aggregate proceeds of $420 million. Each unit consists of one share of Class A common stock and one-third of one warrant to purchase one share of Class A common stock of Anzu Special Acquisition Corp I. The Class A common stock and warrants are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols “ANZU” and “ANZUW”, respectively.
Anzu Special Acquisition Corp I is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) whose business purpose is to effect a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities. Although Anzu Special Acquisition Corp I is not limited to a particular industry or geographic region for purposes of consummating a business combination, the company intends to focus on high-quality businesses with transformative technologies for industrial applications.
