Davis Polk advised the joint book-running managers of a $1 billion SEC-registered offering by ArcelorMittal consisting of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 5.125% notes due 2020 and $500 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.125% notes due 2025.  

ArcelorMittal is the world’s largest and most global steel producer, with steel-making operations in 19 countries on four continents. ArcelorMittal is the largest producer of steel in North and South America and Africa, a significant steel producer in the Commonwealth of Independent States, and has a growing presence in Asia, including investments in China and India.
