Davis Polk advised Cadre Advance LLC in connection with the $143.5 million sale of the Hudson Ridge Apartments, an apartment complex in Atlanta, Georgia, to an affiliate of L+M Fund Management.
Cadre is a tech-driven commercial real estate investment platform that invests in single multifamily properties generating good cash yields and internal rates of return. Since the platform was launched in 2014, Cadre has closed more than $5 billion in real-estate transactions in more than 25 markets across the United States. It has attracted several big-name investors, including the Ford Foundation and Andreessen Horowitz.
For this investment, Cadre participated in a joint venture with Hudson Capital Properties, a real estate investment firm, which owns approximately 7,000 multifamily units, valued at over $1 billion, across 25 residential properties in targeted national markets, focused mainly throughout the Southeast states.
