We are advising Carsome on its Series E funding round

Davis Polk is advising Carsome Group on the completion of its $290 million Series E funding round, led by Qatar Investment Authority, 65 Equity Partners and Seatown. Other investors such as Mediatek, Sunway, Gokongwei Group, YTL Group and Taiwan Mobile participated in the round.

Carsome is Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, with presence in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.

The Davis Polk corporate team includes partner James C. Lin, counsel Sam Kelso and registered foreign lawyer Sangsoo (Eddie) Lee. All members of the Davis Polk team are based in the Hong Kong office.
