Davis Polk Advises ASE on Its Proposal to Acquire Siliconware Precision Industries
Davis Polk is advising Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc. in connection with its proposal to Siliconware Precision Industries Co. to acquire all SPIL shares for NT$55 per common share. ASE owns 24.9% of the common shares of SPIL.
ASE is the world’s largest provider of independent semiconductor manufacturing services in assembly and test. SPIL has become one of the leading providers of comprehensive semiconductor assembly and test services.
