Davis Polk Advises Murphy Oil Corporation on Its $550 Million Notes Offering
Davis Polk advised Murphy Oil Corporation on an SEC-registered offering of $550 million aggregate principal amount of its 6.875% notes due 2024. The net proceeds of the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes.
Based in El Dorado, Arkansas, Murphy is a global independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company. The company’s diverse resource base includes offshore production in Southeast Asia, Canada and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as North America onshore plays in the Eagle Ford Shale, Kaybob Duvernay and Montney.
