Decarbonization Plus Acquisition $200 million IPO
Davis Polk advised the underwriters in connection with the $200 million initial public offering of 20,000,000 units of Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant to purchase one Class A ordinary share of Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation. The units were listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol “DCRBU.”
Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation is a newly organized, special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. Decarbonization Plus Acquisition Corporation intends to capitalize on the Riverstone platform to identify, acquire and operate a business in industries that may provide opportunities for attractive risk-adjusted returns in one of the multiple sectors that may advance the objectives of global decarbonization.
