FTAC Hera Acquisition $800 million IPO
Davis Polk advised the underwriters in connection with the initial public offering of 80,000,000 units of FTAC Hera Acquisition Corp., for aggregate proceeds of $800 million. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-fourth of one warrant to purchase one Class A ordinary share of FTAC Hera Acquisition Corp. The Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols “HERA” and “HERAW”, respectively.
FTAC Hera Acquisition Corp. is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) whose business purpose is to effect a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or other similar business combination with one or more businesses or entities. Although FTAC Hera Acquisition Corp. is not limited to a particular industry or geographic region for purposes of consummating a business combination, the company intends to focus on technology and financial services technology, or fintech, companies that power transformation and innovation.
