Heartland Media Acquisition $175 million IPO
The issuer, a SPAC, offered 17,500,000 units which were listed on the NYSE
Davis Polk advised the underwriters in connection with the initial public offering of 17,500,000 units of Heartland Media Acquisition Corp., for gross proceeds of $175 million. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant to purchase one Class A ordinary share of Heartland Media Acquisition Corp. The units were listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “HMA.U.”
Heartland Media Acquisition Corp. is a newly incorporated special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) whose business purpose is to effect a business combination with one or more entities. Heartland Media Acquisition Corp. intends to pursue opportunities in the media, entertainment and sports sectors.
