We advised Zenergy on its IPO and HKEX listing

Davis Polk advised Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technologies Co., Ltd. in connection with its initial public offering and listing of H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The gross proceeds from the offering amounted to approximately HK$1.01 billion before any exercise of the over-allotment option. The offering was conducted in reliance on Regulation S.

Zenergy is a lithium-ion battery manufacturer in China with a primary focus on the R&D, production and sales of EV battery products and ESS battery products, including integrated battery solutions and battery management systems dedicated to large-scale applications of electrochemical products. Zenergy is one of the 10 largest players in China’s EV battery market in terms of installation capacity.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partners Li He and Jason Xu, counsel – registered foreign lawyer Jennifer (Yujia) Jiang, associates Edwin Lee and Ching Suen, and registered foreign lawyer Eva Xu. Members of the Davis Polk team are based in the Hong Kong and Beijing offices.
