Davis Polk is advising Perella Weinberg Partners as financial adviser to Linde AG in connection with its $70 billion all-stock merger of equals with Praxair, Inc. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2018, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.

Linde is one of the leading gases and engineering companies in the world, with approximately 60,000 employees working in over 100 countries worldwide. Praxair is a leading industrial gas company in North and South America and one of the largest worldwide.
