Davis Polk advised the joint book-running managers on an SEC-registered offering by Mohawk Industries, Inc. of €500 million aggregate principal amount of 2.000% senior notes due 2022.  

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world. Mohawk is the world’s largest flooring company with operations in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, India, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia and the United States.  

Mohawk Industries will use the net proceeds from the offering to partially finance its pending acquisition of the IVC Group, which is expected to close during the first half of 2015. The IVC Group is a major manufacturer of sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tile, or LVT, and laminate, with operations in Europe, Russia and the United States.
