Nidec ¥257 billion tender offer for Makino Milling Machine

Davis Polk is advising Nidec Corporation in connection with its approximately ¥257 billion ($1.6 billion) unsolicited tender offer to acquire Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd. The tender offer is subject to review by Makino and is scheduled to commence on April 4, 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.
