Davis Polk advised NKT A/S on a private placing of 4,951,106 new shares representing approximately 18.15% of its registered share capital. The offering raised gross proceeds of approximately DKK 683 million. The new shares have been admitted to trading and official listing on Nasdaq Copenhagen. 

NKT, founded in 1891, is a Danish industrial holding company with interests in power cables and wires as well as optical components, lasers and photonic crystal fibres.
