Davis Polk advised the initial purchasers in connection with a $300 million Regulation S only offering by Oceanwide Holdings International 2017 Co., Limited of its 8.50% guaranteed senior notes due 2019. The notes are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Oceanwide Holdings Co., Ltd. and China Oceanwide Group Limited, formerly known as Oceanwide Holdings (Hong Kong) Co., Limited.

Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Oceanwide Holdings Co., Ltd. is a property developer in the PRC, focusing on the development of mid-market to high-end residential and commercial properties as well as large urban complexes. The company has been diversifying its business into financial services, strategic investment and power generation through acquisitions in the past years.
