We advised the underwriters on the investment-grade debt offering

Davis Polk advised the representatives of the several underwriters in connection with an SEC-registered offering by The Travelers Companies, Inc. (“Travelers”) of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 3.050% senior notes due 2051.

Travelers is a leading provider of property casualty insurance for auto, home and business. A component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, Travelers has approximately 30,000 employees and generated revenues of approximately $32 billion in 2020.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partner John G. Crowley and associates Sana Bargach and Alexander Kraik. The tax team included associate Dov Sussman. Members of the Davis Polk team are based in the New York and London offices.
