The Banking Regulation Review: USA
Davis Polk partners Luigi De Ghenghi and John Banes and counsel Karen Pelzer recently authored the 12th edition of The Banking Regulation Review USA chapter. The authors summarize the principal elements of banking regulation in the United States, taking into account recent events such as how the COVID-19 pandemic prompted Congress and financial regulators to take a plethora of actions designed to ease the burden on the different players in the financial market. The chapter also considers how attention from legislators and regulators will continue to evolve as the Biden administration nominates officials for key positions and the course of the pandemic unfolds.
