In the chapter, David and Matthew, along with their co-authors, partner Thiago Braga Junqueira and associate Octavio Pedroso of Pinheiro Neto Advogados, discuss the cross-border reorganization of the Constellation Group and the hotly-contested legal issues it generated. The case resulted in multiple decisions that serve as precedents in Brazil and the U.S. and have helped shape cross-border insolvency law in those jurisdictions.
