By a vote of 73-21, the Senate this evening confirmed Makan Delrahim to head the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.  We expect him to assume his role as Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust shortly.

A Davis Polk Client Alert on Mr. Delrahim was issued soon after his nomination in March.
