The National Association of Manufacturers, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Business Roundtable have filed a notice of intent to appeal the recent D.C. District Court ruling that upheld the conflict mineral rules promulgated by the SEC, which we discussed here.

Initial documents related to the appeal are due on September 12.

The conflict minerals disclosures are required to be contained in a new form, Form SD, beginning May 31, 2014.
