The Federal Reserve’s Proposed Governance Guidance for Boards and Management and Proposed Large Financial Institution Rating System
In connection with Margaret E. Tahyar’s participation in the 2018 Prudential Regulation Conference to be hosted by SIFMA and The Clearing House in Washington, D.C. on June 19, 2018, we are today releasing two interrelated visual memoranda examining certain key developments in Federal Reserve supervision over the past several months.
The first visual memorandum, Corporate Governance and Controls: The Federal Reserve’s Governance and Management Proposals – Application to a Large U.S. Financial Institution, focuses on the Federal Reserve’s August 2017 and January 2018 corporate governance proposals regarding supervisory expectations for boards of directors and senior management, respectively.
The second visual memorandum, The Federal Reserve’s Large Financial Institution Rating System – Application to a Large U.S. Financial Institution, serves as a companion to the previous memorandum, and discusses the Federal Reserve’s August 2017 proposed new rating system for large financial institutions.
