Represents sponsors in the formation and operations of private funds and advises on co-investments and secondary transactions. 

Angelica represents private fund and venture capital sponsors in connection with the establishment, marketing and operations of private equity funds, co-investment vehicles and separately managed accounts, covering numerous sectors and strategies including infrastructure, buyout and venture capital. She also advises sponsors on complex secondary transaction matters, including GP-led secondary transactions, and provides regulatory and compliance advice to her private fund and venture capital clients.

Angelica served as deputy president for Region II of the Hispanic National Bar Association from 2020 to 2023.

Angelica’s representations before joining Davis Polk include the following:

  • Glendon Capital Management in the formation of Glendon Opportunities Fund II, a $2.5 billion global credit opportunities fund
  • Global Infrastructure Partners in the formation of various funds and accounts in the infrastructure sector, including Global Infrastructure Partners III, a $15.8 billion infrastructure fund, and Global Infrastructure Partners IV, a $22 billion global infrastructure fund
  • Kelso & Company in the formation of various funds and co-investments accounts, including Kelso Investment Associates X, a $2.75 billion U.S. buyout fund, and Kelso Investment Associates XI Fund, a $3.25 billion fund, and in closing various single-asset continuation vehicles
  • KKR in the formation of KKR Asset-Based Finance Partners Fund, a $2.1 billion fund focused on asset-based financing for global privately originated and negotiated credit investments
  • Lightspeed Venture Partners in the formation of various venture capital funds and co-investments accounts, including Lightspeed Venture Partners Fund XIV-A/B, two early-stage global venture funds with a combined value of approximately $2 billion; Lightspeed Venture Partners Select Fund V, a $2.26 billion late-stage global venture fund; and Lightspeed Opportunity Fund II, a $2.36 billion late-stage global venture fund
