The American Lawyer has named Davis Polk among the finalists for “Law Firm of the Year,” as part of the publication’s 2022 Industry Awards. The prestigious award, which Davis Polk won in 2021, honors a law firm that had an exceptional year across its service offerings, netting big wins but also showing a commitment to and progress in an area not solely related to its practice, such as pro bono, diversity or innovation in how legal services are delivered.

Davis Polk is also shortlisted in multiple categories for the American Lawyer’s Corporate Practices of the Year contest, including:

  • General Corporate Practice of the Year
  • Tech/Telecom Corporate Practice of the Year
  • Corporate Attorney of the Year: Cheryl Chan

Davis Polk is the only firm to be shortlisted for both “Law Firm of the Year” and “General Corporate Practice of the Year.”

The awards will be presented on November 10, 2022, in New York.
