Davis Polk partner and trading and markets practice head Annette Nazareth has joined the new private sector-led Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets. The initiative was launched to begin scaling an effective, efficient and functioning voluntary carbon market to help meet the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. Nazareth will serve as Operating Lead for the Taskforce.

The Taskforce, launched by Mark Carney, UN Special Envoy for Climate Action, will be comprised of more than 40 leaders from six continents with backgrounds across the carbon market value chain.
