In 2022, despite challenging market conditions, Davis Polk advised on 137 U.S. syndicated deals totaling more than $302 billion, including seven of the year’s nine largest leveraged acquisition financings. We also represented a broad range of direct lenders in numerous direct lending transactions, including some of the largest of 2022. Highlights of Davis Polk’s 2022 league table rankings include:

  • Refinitiv: 2nd in all U.S. and global lender (volume) categories, including leveraged lending and M&A financings, and in the top five for over half of all 2022 Refinitiv LPC finance league table categories.
  • Bloomberg: 2nd in U.S. lender-side leveraged (volume) categories, with market share almost double our next closest competitor.  We also ranked in the top five in approximately half of all U.S. categories.

These league table results underscore the scale and depth of Davis Polk’s finance practice, and our continuing commitment to provide the highest level of service to our clients on a full range of products.
