Grupo Aeroméxico’s chapter 11 restructuring was named “Airline Restructuring Deal of the Year” at the 2022 Airfinance Journal Global Awards. Davis Polk served as lead counsel to Aeroméxico in connection with the company’s chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Aeroméxico emerged from bankruptcy on March 17, 2022.

The AFJ Global Awards recognize the year’s most innovative transaction in aviation finance. The awards were presented on June 8, 2023, in London.
