The Recorder has named Davis Polk “Tech Industry Advisory Team of the Year” as part of the publication’s 2022 California Leaders in Tech Law and Innovation Awards. The award honors the California law firms and legal departments that have been instrumental to the state’s thriving technology sector.

Davis Polk’s Northern California office serves as the focal point for the firm’s global technology practice, with the firm’s many distinguished corporate attorneys advising on major deals for an extensive roster of technology companies. The firm has advised on many recent prominent transactions in the tech space, including Lucid Motors’ $24 billion merger with special-purpose acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp IV, HP’s $3.3 billion acquisition of Poly, Playtika Holding’s $2 billion IPO, Amazon.com’s $18.5 billion notes offering and Ingram Micro’s $7.2 billion acquisition by Platinum Equity.
