Davis Polk Named International Law Firm of the Year at 2018 Asia Legal Awards

For the second consecutive year, Davis Polk was named “International Law Firm of the Year” at the Asia Legal Awards, hosted by The Asian Lawyer, The American Lawyer, China Law & Practice and Legal Week. The firm also won “Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year,” and Davis Polk partner Bill Barron was selected as “Securities Lawyer of the Year.”

In addition, three Davis Polk matters were recognized as Deals of the Year:

• M&A Deal of the Year: Southeast Asia – Global Logistic Properties’ acquisition by Chinese consortium
• Securities Deal of the Year: Equity – Sea Ltd.’s U.S. IPO
• Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring – PT Bumi Resources’ $4.5B global debt restructuring

The 2018 Asia Legal Awards were held on March 22, 2018, in Hong Kong.
