Davis Polk was named “Tech Deal Department of the Year – M&A” at the 2021 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards, presented by Law.com and Legaltech News. The award recognizes Davis Polk’s role in technology M&A deals with an aggregate value surpassing $110 billion since January 2020. Highlights include advising IHS Markit on its all-stock merger of S&P Global, valued at $44 billion, the largest announced M&A deal of 2020; and advising Lucid Motors in connection with its business combination with Churchill Capital Corp IV, a publicly traded SPAC.

The awards were presented virtually on July 13, 2021.
