The New York State Unified Court System Office for Justice Initiatives, New York County Lawyers Association, and New York State Bar Association have honored a team of Davis Polk lawyers in recognition of their contributions to the COVID-19 Recovery Task Force, a group formed through a partnership of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Courts. Our team was instrumental in the development of a child support pilot program that expands a video-conferencing platform created by Legal Information for Families Today to bring child support legal consultations to litigants throughout the state. The pilot aims to help the growing number of unrepresented New Yorkers litigating child support petitions in the wake of the pandemic. The Davis Polk team was led by Head of Pro Bono Litigation Dara Sheinfeld and associates Alexa Lutchen and Elizabeth Weinstein.

The team was honored at a ceremony on October 26, 2021, in celebration of National Pro Bono week.
