Human Rights First has honored Davis Polk with a 2021 “Marvin E. Frankel Award” for the firm’s outstanding dedication to pro bono service in helping Human Rights First achieve justice for refugees across the United States. Davis Polk received the award in recognition of its decades-long commitment to the rights of asylum seekers, including working on more than 130 asylum cases and helping clients to secure lawful permanent resident and U.S. citizenship.

The annual award honors the memory of Judge Marvin E. Frankel, one of the founders of Human Rights First, a non-profit, nonpartisan international human rights organization.

The award was presented virtually on October 21, 2021.
