The Department of Defense, under its Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Program, has presented Davis Polk with a Patriot Award.

The Patriot Award, a reflection of an organization’s policies, values and practices, is bestowed in recognition of an organization’s contributions to national security and protecting liberty and freedom through its support of employees serving in the U.S. National Guard and Reserve Forces.

Davis Polk law clerk Pablo A. Lozano, who joined the firm’s Northern California office in 2023 and serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves, nominated the firm for the award.

This month, the firm marked the launch of its Davis Polk Veterans affinity group with a panel discussion during which several Davis Polk lawyers and Business Services personnel shared their experiences serving and how that has shaped their professional careers.
