Davis Polk was named a finalist in two categories for Law.com International’s 2023 British Legal Awards. The firm is shortlisted for “Private Equity Team of the Year” and “TMT Team of the Year.” The awards recognize teams that have set new standards in the delivery of legal services, thereby demonstrating the firm’s market-leading position.

Davis Polk’s London private equity team has worked on a number of high-profile matters over the last year, including advising Brookfield Business Partners in connection with the $16 billion acquisition of Nielsen by a private equity consortium led by Brookfield and Evergreen Coast Capital Corporation.

The TMT team’s recent matters include advising TP Global Operations on the acquisition of the non-Russian business and assets of Truphone.

The winners will be announced on November 29, 2023, in London.
