The Deal named Davis Polk the “Energy and Industrials Law Firm of the Year” at the 2019 Deal Awards. The awards recognize the leading lawyers, bankers, advisers and investors shaping the M&A deal economy.

Davis Polk was also recognized for its role advising Aetna on its acquisition by CVS Health, which won “Deal of the Year” and “Healthcare and Pharma Deal of the Year,” and its role advising Comcast on its £30.6 billion cash offer and winning bid for Sky, which was named “Cross-Border Deal of the Year.”

The firm also was recognized in connection with the “Energy and Industrials Deal of the Year,” Harris Corporation’s merger with L3 Technologies, and the “Consumer, Retail, Food & Beverage Deal of the Year,” PepsiCo’s acquisition of SodaStream.

The 2019 Deal Awards were presented on June 20, 2019, in New York.
