Davis Polk was recognized with three awards at the 2024 Asia Legal Awards, presented by Law.com International. The awards recognize the most important transactions and cases with the most complex and outstanding legal work in Asia.

Partner James Lin was named “Southeast Asia Emerging Markets Dealmaker of the Year.” The inaugural award recognizes a market-leading lawyer whose work has involved significant Asian regulatory elements and has set new standards in the delivery of high-level legal services and solutions.

Additionally, the firm was honored in connection with its role advising APG on the rollover of its equity shares in the going-private transaction of Chindata, which was named “PE Deal of the Year,” and for advising the underwriters on Arm’s IPO, which was named “Securities Deal of the Year: Equity.”

The Asia Legal Awards were presented on March 14, 2024, in Singapore.
