Margaret Tahyar named to FDIC’s Systemic Resolution Advisory Committee
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has appointed Davis Polk partner and Financial Institutions practice co-head Margaret Tahyar to its Systemic Resolution Advisory Committee (SRAC), which was created by the FDIC’s board of directors in 2011 to provide the agency with advice and recommendations on a broad range of issues regarding the resolution of systemically important financial companies.
The 16-member SRAC is intended to facilitate discussion on how the FDIC’s resolution authority granted under Dodd-Frank may impact covered entities and others.
For more information on the SRAC, please visit the FDIC’s website.
