Davis Polk partner and Capital Markets co-head Maurice Blanco was quoted in Latin Lawyer on Mexico’s IPO market. He noted that despite a global economic slump and rising interest rates, Mexico’s economy is booming and there are opportunities for more IPOs in the future.

“The Mexican peso is very strong, and nearshoring is front and centre for many investors. These factors are driving much of the popularity [for IPOs],” Maurice explained.
