Davis Polk partner and Capital Markets co-head Maurice Blanco was quoted in Bloomberg Law in a piece on capital markets activity in Q1 of 2022. The article noted Davis Polk among the leading firms for IPOs on both the issuer and underwriter side in the first quarter. Davis Polk served as issuer counsel on the largest IPO in that period – TPG’s $1 billion offering. Bloomberg also highlighted the growth of the firm’s NY capital markets group, which saw a 20% increase in headcount in 2021. Maurice said, “We will continue to invest significant resources in the growth of our practice.”
