Davis Polk partner Michael Kaplan has been named among the finalists for the New York Law Journal’s “Dealmakers of the Year” award, part of NYLJ’s annual Professional Excellence awards.

Michael advised on a number of large deals in a range of industries in the past year, including Amer Sports’ $1.37 billion IPO – the largest IPO to date in 2024 –, Borse Dubai on its $1.8 billion SEC-registered secondaries offering, Meta Platforms’ $8.5 billion senior notes offering, Taboola on its 30-year exclusive commercial agreement with Yahoo and Bausch + Lomb on its $1.75 billion financing for acquisition of Novartis assets.

The awards will be presented on September 5, 2024, in New York.
