Davis Polk partner Reuven Young discussed London’s alternative investment market and how it might become a growth destination for new listings with Law360.

“Ultimately, companies listed there need investor support,” Reuven explained. “The proof for a successful listing is liquidity and price development and those are principles driven by investors.”

“Nasdaq and the NYSE are the premier destinations globally for tech companies,” Reuven added. “The U.S. capital markets are the deepest and most liquid in the world. And there’s an intangible aspect to having a U.S. listing relating to prestige, and that carries weight.”
