Davis Polk partner and capital markets co-head Richard Truesdell was quoted in Bloomberg on how green renewables may be able to generate momentum in the IPO market. “Whether that’s batteries or synthetic fuel, there’s a lot of risk-on, development stage companies that are optimistic – given the demand and interest in their field – that they’ll be able to access the market sooner rather than later,” Richard explained. “That’s as opposed to the old-fashioned biotechs that have a much more pessimistic view about needing to wait for the second half.”
