Davis Polk partner and Capital Markets co-head Richard Truesdell was quoted in the Wall Street Journal on the IPO market and how some companies are now evaluating going public as well as being acquired as their potential next steps. Richard explained that “these days, the only dual track is M&A” and noted it was rarer for companies to pursue a merger and an IPO at the same time last year.
