Davis Polk partner Rob Cohen was quoted in Reuters discussing the SEC’s crypto enforcement under the incoming Trump administration.

Discussing enforcement actions that are currently underway, Rob noted that one option for the agency would be to re-open settlement negotiations.

He added the new SEC leadership would likely continue to take a tough line on crypto fraud. “I think the industry wants to see fraudsters or wrongdoers held accountable,” he said.
