Davis Polk partners Roshni Banker Cariello and Derek Dostal were quoted in Law360 on the record capital markets activity in 2021. Roshni noted that while IPO activity has been high across all sectors, “going into the back half of 2021 especially, you saw a number of consumer retail companies going public.”

Derek addressed the recent rebound in SPAC activity, noting, “It just shows that [the SPAC product] is dynamic and resilient. The product can adapt to what the current landscape is.”
