Davis Polk stands in support of Ukraine. We strongly condemn and are outraged by the horrific actions Russia has taken against Ukraine and its people. We would like to publicly confirm that Davis Polk has never had a presence in Russia and we are not accepting work from any sanctioned Russian or Belarusian person or entity. We are proud of the pro bono work that so many of our lawyers are doing to try to help people in the region. This includes representing Russian LGBTQ asylum applicants fleeing persecution in Russia, and working with a nonprofit to launch and obtain 501(c)(3) status so it can start providing aid to civilians in Ukraine. We expect to continue to devote our resources to these and other similar efforts.
