Davis Polk partner and Europe practice head Will Pearce was named to Financial News’ 2023 “Most Influential Lawyers” list. The award honors the top 50 leading legal minds working in Europe on corporate deals including M&A, restructuring and equity issuances, as well as those advising financial services companies on issues such as fund structuring and regulation.

Will was recognized for his leadership of Davis Polk’s European practice and for his role advising Brookfield Business Partners in connection with the $16 billion acquisition of Nielsen by a private equity consortium led by Brookfield and Evergreen Coast Capital Corporation. His work on Gilead Sciences’ $405 million acquisition of MiroBio was also highlighted.
