Davis Polk shortlisted for 2025 California Legal Awards
Davis Polk and the firm’s lawyers are shortlisted for multiple awards for the 2025 California Legal Awards, presented by The Recorder. The awards honor the California law firms and legal departments driving the state’s dynamic legal landscape.
The firm is shortlisted in the “Tech Industry Advisory Team of the Year” category in recognition of the significant transactions on which the firm advised over the past year involving some of the most notable companies in technology.
Davis Polk partner and Northern California office co-head Alan Denenberg is a finalist for “Dealmaker of the Year.” Alan was recognized for the breadth of transactions he has worked on – from IPOs, including for Reddit, to convertible debt offerings for companies including Snowflake, to investment-grade debt offerings for companies such as Uber, to public and private M&A matters for clients including Altair, Assetmark and McKesson.
In addition, partner and Northern California office co-head Neal Potischman is named among the “Distinguished Leader” honorees, in recognition of his leadership and major achievements in the last year. Over the past twelve months, Neal has secured several important wins for clients, including defeating class certification on behalf of Novo Nordisk in an insulin pricing MDL. Neal has also played an integral role in the expansion of the firm’s Northern California practice and was heavily involved in the process of relocating Davis Polk’s NorCal office from Menlo Park to Redwood City.
The California Legal Awards will be presented on June 25, 2025, in Los Angeles.
