Hillary Coleman selected as a David Rockefeller Fellow
Davis Polk partner Hillary Coleman was selected as a David Rockefeller Fellow for the Class of 2025 by the Partnership for New York City. The fellowship is an immersive one-year program where senior executives learn about the city and state and build civic leadership skills. Hillary is one of 30 business leaders from diverse industries chosen for the program.
Fellows will have the opportunity to better understand New York City and take a more active role in shaping the city’s future. The program’s objectives include: facilitating access to the knowledge and networks necessary to forge effective public-private partnerships, establishing relationships between leaders in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, and developing an alumni network.
Throughout the year, fellows will meet with key government officials and heads of important nonprofit institutions to learn about their work and the challenges they face. They will also meet with global business leaders who will share their insights on industry trends, management practices and the value of civic engagement.
Since its inception in 1989, the program has engaged nearly 600 senior executives, offering them candid conversations with elected officials, commissioners of government agencies, heads of nonprofit institutions and public policy experts.
